Gideon

Has everyone had a chance to read about Gideon? Remember how he questioned God? Recall how Gideon felt inadequate when he was called "mighty warrior". What are some lessons that can be learned from Gideon? Gideon was not sure he could live up to his new name. What about you? How are you doing with your new name? Please respond. Review Judges 6:11-32 if you need to.

I have been doing much better since I set my new name. I have been improving in my thoughts. It is fantastic, and unbelievable to actually keep my word, but I am just beggining to improve. I still have alongs way to go until I reach the point when all of the horrible, nasty, and sinful thoughts are cleared and out of my mind until i am married and until the right comes but until then I will continue with doing the right thing .But you never know the devil might just come in and try to tempt me, but in the meantime i will do my best.

I am still so excited that we are doing this! Montel, I am impressed with how you express yourself! Remember that you are going through something right now that is very natural. Nothing is wrong with you! I am sure you will do your best to do the right things. Here is the cool thing, God is there even if you fail. God loves you from everlasting to everlasting! And I love you too!

So, how am i doing with my new name? Well, i think im doing pretty good. I have been trying really hard not to use sarcasm. That is super hard for me!! When i start to say something sarcastic, i try to stop myself. It's gonna take me a minute to stop completely!!
Hey, i have a question. Is sarcasm bad even if you're not being mean and rude with it?? What if it's funny, and doesn't hurt the other person?? I just wanna know.
